Welcome! This is the portfolio and professional website of Jeremy G. Burton. I’m an information architect and UX designer in Pittsburgh, Pa., and I’m on a mission to save us from the wrong things.
You know what I’m talking about — websites that confound, tools that fail, services that fall short, systems that work against us. No more. We can do better.
Building the right things means designing for people. It means creating meaningful information experiences. And it means empowering the people we make these things for.
This is the heart of what I do. As a one-time newspaper journalist, my passions and expertise are in IA, interaction design and design research. I also have experience with content strategy, project management, business strategy, visual design, and both front- and back-end development.
Currently, I am freelancing and available for full-time hire or contract work. So please, check out the examples below of my work and my process, learn more about who I am, read my blog, follow me on Twitter, and get in touch to discuss working together.
Thanks for visiting!
